Restoration
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God”
Surrounded by people with different kinds of food
Not knowing what to feed on
Where did our hunger go?
We have filled up our bellies with food, not of the spirit
Forgetting that out of all the oceans of this world, God chose that same belly to flow rivers of living waters
Refusing to drink of Him, the fountain that never runs dry
What then happened to our thirst?
How do we test this hypothesis, when we know not the Genesis,
The root cause of this revelation.
With in-depth knowledge about the precepts of prayer,
Speaking in diverse tongues
Yet our secret place is as dry as the bones prophet Ezekiel prophesied to
Notwithstanding the fact that they came back to life
So can our secret place rise from degeneration to rejuvenation
A journey into life where every desire becomes hunger
True hunger comes from the revelation of the fear of the Lord
And the desire to be blessed by Him.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled”
There is an appetite for God and it must be awakened
The awakening of the fire that causes man to hunger for more
Rekindling the desire to know Him more
“For He is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him”
And so, it our prayer that
Oh Lord, restore unto us the hunger that which we lost
Intensify our desire
For this hunger is not enough
This fire is not enough
Grant unto us another measure, that we may behold the mandate given us
Mandate
Man! You for check the date
The time has come and it is now
To reconcile creation back to Him
The mandate to seek the release of prisoners from captivity
To grant them liberty through our saviour Jesus Christ
A new wine is pouring to the church
Watchmen arising from the church
Power is returning to the altar once again
For how can one behold the mandate without power
How can the sons of God expand without fire?
Like Angel Gabriel, we’re messengers of Jesus”
We are God’s arsenal for execution
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds”.
The enemy comes in multiple folds
But the blood of Jesus that speaks better things than that of Abel
Is able to beat the enemy without cane
Our very existence is not in vain
Again, the blood in his vein has done it all
Cleared all the spots and blemishes without bleach
This truth is what we preach
Commissioned by the Most High to be carriers of the cross
To cross the path of mankind with the gospel
Jesus is calling your name, ye soldiers on the battlefield.
We need to build capacity, and we do that with consistency
Consistency
“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you”
We are very consistent with asking but we refuse to abide
Forgetting that the scripture is conditional
Daniel, a man worth emulating
He was very consistent with his prayer life that when they tried to take his life,
There was a superior power at work
Despite the king’s decree
Daniel still went on his knee
Not because he was in need
But because of his consistency.
He was put in the lions den
Oh! I know you are familiar
Not asking for help yet God came through for him
On that day, we knew that “the effective fervent prayer of the righteousness man availeth much”.
Not even his awareness that he could be killed interfered with
His practice of praying three times a day.
That’s the power of consistency
Now to this local body of believers
If we are being admonished to pray, we want them to leave us in peace
Oblivious of the fact that we are already broken into pieces
When it comes to our personal walk of faith, we leave it fate
And so many of us struggle to maintain a consistent quiet time with the Lord.
What is the amount of word in you?
How consistent is your walk with God?
“Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and saviourJesus Christ”
The only way to attain maturity unto Christ’s standard
Is when we are consistent with word study and prayer.
“Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ”.
We will be nothing but infants with no knowledge of what and who we believe in.
Let our hunger be stirred so that we can behold the mandate given us with consistency.
Thank you.
